Jim E Adams Sr. passed away October 8, 2013, at the age of 83, after a long illness.

Preceding him in death was Irma Adams, Son, Jim Adams Jr., and Daughter, Pam Morton.

Surviving him is his loving wife, Betty Adams and five children, Steven Adams, Kevin Adams and wife Vicki, Sharon Holt, Jack Adams and wife Cindy, Debra Sturgeon and husband Dave. Also surviving him is his sister, Alice and spouse Jerry, and brother, Willie and wife Dean. Along with, numerous Grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was a local business owner, Pioneer Automotive Paint and Body, for 20 years. Not only did he serve his local community, he also served in the Army, was a dedicated father and loving husband. He was a lover of nature and spent many days hunting, fishing, and gardening in the great outdoors. He will be deeply missed.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Forest Park Funeral Home and visitation will be held Monday, October 14, 2013 between 6:00pm and 8:00 pm.
Services will take place at Forest Park West Cemetery @ 10:30am on Tuesday, October 15, 2013. Please join the family in the memory of Jim Adams.
