Elaine E. Young, of Pine Center, passed away March 27, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, April 3, at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Bulldog Lake. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the mass, at the church. Interment will be at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery, Bulldog Lake.

Elaine was born July 7, 1936, in Pierz to Frank and Catherine (Rahlf) Fuhrman. She married Robert A. Young Oct. 29, 1955; they were married for 53 years when he passed away in 2009.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Robert of Stillwater, Michael of Pine Center and Lori of Brainerd; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brothers, Herbert, Hugo, Frank, Harvey, Elvin, and Elmer; sisters, Margaret, Kathleen and Elizabeth.
