SERVICE HELD FOR ERWAL ROSENBAUM

Funeral services were held Monday, April 12, in the Arlington Community Church for Erwal G. Rosenbaum, 85, who died April 8, at Arbor Manor Home in Fremont. Burial was in Blair Cemetery with military graveside services conducted by the Arlington VFW Post.

Erwal G. Rosenbaum was born in Blair June 14, 1896. He married Mary Ludwig October 1, 1919 in Arlington.

He was retired employee of the Nebraska State Department of Roads. He had lived most of his life in Washington County and had lived in Arlington the last 40 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Blair.

A veteran of World War I, he served in the United States Coast Guard in France. He was a chapter member and helped organize the Arlington VFW post.

He is survived by his wife Mary; two sons, Robert Rosenbaum of Vashon Island, Washington, and Richard Rosenbaum of Birmingham, Michigan; and one daughter, Mrs. G. William (Muriel) Wilkins of Lincoln. Two sisters, Mrs. Maude Misfeldt of Denver and Mrs. Jo Thompson of Winside; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren also survive him.
