Marshall Patton Holt, 68 of Rocky Mount, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alger and Murial Holt.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Brenda Holt, children, Richard, Michael, and Teresa Holt, Janice Palmer and special son-in-law, Shane: stepson, Robert (Monica) Yokum: sisters, Jane Williams, Joanne (Marshall) McNeil, Joyce Anderson, Susan (Wyatt) Wimmer, brothers, Charles (vicki), Johnny, and Henry Holt: numerous grandchildren: and many nieces and nephews.
Marshall served in the (USAR) 80th Div, Tng. U.S. Army Reserves, over 19 years. He served on the 80th Div. Rifle team for several years; He was a graduate of Fort Knox, Ky. Drill Sgt. School.
