Maleta L. Did Irish age 90 of Lancaster died Tuesday September 27, 2005 at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. She was born April 28, 1915 in Waterloo Township, WI the daughter of Clyde and Emma (Stoll) Potter. On September 26, 1930 she married Earl G. Irish in Galena, IL. Together they were dairy farmers in Iowa and Wisconsin. In 1944 the couple moved to Lancaster and opened the Minute Lunch on Maple St. In 1965, Did purchased the Maple Inn and operated it until her retirement in 1977. She loved a good game of cards and enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. She is survived by three daughters; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 18 great great grandchildren; a brother Kenneth a sister Annabel; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl on November 14, 1971; her parents; her son-in-law, Larry Long; an infant great granddaughter; her brothers, Cletus and Donald; and her sister Eileen Draves.
