He was Born February 22, 1941, in Marshall County to James Guy Ash and Maggie Pearl Roach Ash.

He was a Logger; and U.S. Army Veteran, Serving in Vietnam.

Services will be 10 A.M. Wednesday, October 9, at Holly Springs Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Adair officiating.
Burial will be in Ashbury Cemetery in Waterford.
Holly Springs Funeral Home is in Charge of Arrangements.

Survivors include his Wife, Janie Lou Ash of Potts Camp; Three Sons, Rev. Faron Ash of Potts Camp; David Ash of Ashland; and Derek Ash of Potts Camp; Five Daughters, Phyllis Gray of Ashland; Janice Sue Cocke of Atway; Violet Marie Whitehead of Ashland; Candy Sue Ash of Potts Cam; and Amanda Ford of Whiteville, TN; Seven Brothers, Henry Ash, Ricky Ash, Lonnie Ash, Mikey Ash, Danny Ash and Jody Swinford, all of Potts Camp; and Jackie Ash of New Albany; Two Sisters, Bonnie Ash of Memphis; and Sue Bolden of Holly Springs; One Half Sister, Christine Hatchett of Waterford; 18 Grandchildren; and 13 Great Grandchildren.

He was Preceded in Death by his Parents; One Sister; Four Half Sisters; and Four Half Brothers.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 P.M. Today at the Funeral Home.
