CARL D. RAY, 86, of Racine, Wis., formerly of Coldwater Lake, Mich., passed away on Monday, Oct. 7, 2013. Born Sept. 1, 1927, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Russell and Cora Ray. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was the owner and operator of his own construction business. Surviving family include his son, Gregory (Gail) Ray and Jeffery W. (companion, Lisa Roberts) Ray; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was also preceded in passing by his wife, Julia M. (Waldrop) Ray. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
