Alice F. Bonk, 86, formerly of 1118 S. 22nd Street, Manitowoc, and now of St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc, died Thursday evening, November 2, 1989 at St. Mary's Home.

Funeral services will be 9 am Saturday at St. Mary's Home Chapel. Rev. Tom Wojciechowski will officiate with burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mrs. Bonk was born March 16, 1903 at Manitowoc, Wisconsin, daughter of the late John and Anna Stryzewski Andrastek. She married Joseph S. Bonk on November 24, 1925. He preceded her in death October 11, 1959. Mrs. Bonk was a member of St. Mary's Church Rosary and Altar Society.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, James and Jean Bonk of Milwaukee; a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. Newphrey Check of Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Bernard (Cecelia) Andrastek of Manitowoc, Mrs. Stanley (Viola) Andrastek of Manitowoc; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph, John, Stanley, Bernard and five sisters, Sophie, Celia, Esther, Josephine and Clara.

Friends may call at St. Mary Home Chapel, 8 am Saturday morning and until the hour of service at 9 am. There will be no Friday evening visitation. Pfeffer Funeral home, Manitowoc, is serving the family.
