Funeral services for Howard Schwarting, 79, of Rosenberg, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Garmany & Carden Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg. Officiating the service will be Rev. Don Kolkmeier. Burial will be in Greenlawn.
Mr. Schwarting died Monday at Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital. Mr. Schwarting was a Rosenberg resident since 1944 and a member of the St. John's United Methodist Church of Christ in Rosenberg.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Howard Schwarting of Rosenberg; a daughter, Shirley Jean Stavinoha and her husband, Teddy, of Rosenberg; four grandchildren, Thomas Stavinoha, Michael Stavinoha, Patti Kocich, and Debbie Kay Stavinoha; and seven great-grandchildren.
