Don John Willis Tibbits , 86
Don was born December 3, 1890 at Fruitport, Mich., a son of Herbert and Frances Tibbits. He had received his schooling in Michigan and then moved with his parents to Louisiana, later to Oklahoma and Arkansas. On September 3, 1913 he was married to Marie Geise at DeQueens, Ark. In 1923 they moved to Denver where he woned and operated a garage until 1934 when they moved to Spokane and in 1935 to Whitefish where he was a gunsmith and owned and operated a gun shop until his death. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie, Aug. 23, 1976. He was survived by one son; one daughter; and one grandson. Don resided in Whitefish and passed away Tuesday morning, June 28, 1977 in Kalispell.
