NEWHALL — Nellie Brewster, age 89, of Newhall, WV died Friday, October 4, 2013 at Carilion Tazewell Community Hospital in Tazewell, VA. Born February 8, 1924 at Canebrake, WV, she was a daughter of the late Bogle and Bessie Bandy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Arthur Brewster; one daughter, Donna Harrison Dennison; two brothers, Kenneth Bandy and James William Bandy.
She is survived by two daughters, Judith Kiser of Bluefield, WV and Lois Mills of Burke, VA; two sons, Douglas Brewster of Newhall, WV and Tim Brewster of Stroh, IN; seven grandchildren, Gary Kiser, Jr. of Pulaski, VA, Kandace Howlett of Draper, VA, Brandon Mills of Baltimore, MD, Brad Mills of Burke, VA, Kacie Brewster, Brandie Brewster, and Kristie Brewster of Stroh, IN; four great-grandchildren, Ada Grace Howlett, Kyra Kiser, Kaden Kiser, and Katelyn Mills; three sisters, Lorraine Myers of Newhall, WV, Rebecca Ruark of Cambridge, MD, and Nora Ann Hubbard of Secretary, MD; one brother, Kelly Bandy of Newhall, WV.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at the Newhall Advent Christian Church in Newhall, WV with Pastors John Webb and Kelly Howlett officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the church from 6-8 PM Tuesday, October 8, 2013.
