Edward D. Clark, 86 years old, died at his home, 1919 South Grand Avenue, at 8:20 o'clock Friday night after a short illness. Mr. Clark, a retired carpenter, lived in Sedalia tirty years, and was the head carpenter in building Bagnell Dam. He was born in Miller County on September 18, 1858.
Surviving are his wife, Sarah Clark of the home, two sons, Everett and Elmer, both of Sedalia and two daughters, Miss Ida Clark of Sedalia and Mrs. Edith Flaugher of Tuscumbia, Mo., twenty-four grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
The body was taken from the funeral chapel to the home Saturday afternoon. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o'clock Monday afternoon with the Rev. Ervin Kelley, pastor of the Gospel Tabernacle, to officiate.
Pallbearers will be Louis Lutjen, Sam Lutjen, Frank Less, C.O. Crouch, John Dirchson and Tom Ward. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
