Frank Liston Dies at Local Hospital. Frank Liston, a well-known cattle man from Escalante died Tuesday morning in the local hospital, following an operation for a ruptured appendix. Funeral services will be held in the Escalante North ward and interment will be in the Escalante cemetery.


Mr. Liston was born May 9, 1889, at Escalante, the son of Rufus B. and Elizabeth E. Liston. As a young man, he married Mayme Oakden of Beaver, who preceded him in death for four years. Three months ago he married Nan Barney of Escalante.


Surviving are his widow; one son, Stanley Liston; a senior at the Richfield high school; a daughter, Mildred Liston; his mother, and the following brothers and sisters: Rufus H., Alma and Wilford Listen and Mrs. Isabell Spencer, all of Escalante; Mrs. Lillie Baker of Boulder; Mrs. Grace Holladay of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Lenoe Thibadeau of Nampa, Idaho.
