LINDA F. RAINES, age 70, a resident of Irving since 1969, and retired, long-time special education teacher with the Irving Independent School District, died Monday, October 7, 2013 at her home. Born December 14, 1942 in Galveston, Texas, she was the daughter of Moses A. and Dorothy E. Haymon. She was a member of Plymouth Park Baptist Church in Irving. Survivors include her daughters, Lisa Raines of Irving, Leslie Hamilton and husband Rick of Ovilla, TX, and Lynette Cleveland and husband Craig of Irving; a brother, James Haymon and wife Jean of Willis, TX; and four grandchildren, Nichole Hinds, Thomas Hamilton, Chloe Cleveland and Colby Cleveland. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home, 606 W. Airport Freeway, in Irving. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Plymouth Park Baptist Church, 1714 North Story Road in Irving. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244.
