Mrs. Sarah J. Keefer died at her home, Frederick street, Taneytown, this morning at 10 a.m. She was aged 87 years. Her husband preceded her in death about 43 years ago. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Foreman. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran church, Taneytown, practically all her life. She is survived by one daughter, Miss Missouri B. Keefer, York, Pa.; three sons, Walter B. Keefer, Tipton, Iowa; David F. Keefer, Sykesville, Md.; and Jesse T., Keymar Md.; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one brother, John Foreman, living in Ohio, and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Warner, Greenville, Ohio; Mrs. Della Mathias, Silver Spring, Md.; and Mrs. Fannie Little, Union Bridge, Md. Friends may call at the C. O. Fuss & Son funeral home Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock. Services will be held from the Fuss funeral home on Thursday morning at 10:30, with interment in the Reformed church cemetery. Her pastor, the Rev. A. T. Sutcliffe, will officiate.
