Irene Russell of Galena, Missouri, daughter of James and Nellie (Allmon) Robbins, was born on April 26, 1923 in Lawrence County, Missouri and passed away on October 5, 2013, at the age of 90.
Irene was a lifelong resident of the area and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Elsey in Crane, Missouri.
She is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, John Harold Russell; one brother; three sisters; one grandson, Curt Russell and one great grandson, Samuel Gene Harris.
Survivors include: two sons, Jack H. Russell of Galena, Missouri and Mike Russell and wife, Mary Jean of Crane, Missouri; two daughters, Carol Murphy of Crane, Missouri and Diane Harris and husband, Dale of Galena, Missouri; twelve grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; twelve great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 in the Crane Community Cemetery, Crane, Missouri with Wayne Blades officiating. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Manlove-Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, Missouri. All services are under the direction of Manlove-Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, Missouri.
