GEORGE ROCKEY DIES AT GREEN BAY TODAY
George Rockey, age 49 years, who removed to Green Bay to make his home five years ago, passed away at that place this morning at nine o'clock. Funeral arrangements have not been completed but will be announced tomorrow.
Up to the time that he left this city the deceased held a position as foreman with the Frank Kerscher Sheet Metal Company on Buffalo street, but opportunity for advancement came to him, from Northern Corrugating company at Green Bay five years ago, and he removed to that city with his family. Cheerful through many months of illness his demise came as a relief from long suffering. The news proved a shock to his many friends in Manitowoc. Mr. Rockey underwent an operation last June.
The deceased is survived by a widow who was Mary Zingsheim, to whom he was married twenty-five years ago. Four children, Clarence, Leonard, Stanley and Earl, all located at the family home in Green Bay, an aged mother, and one brother, Otto, residing in the state of Oregon, also survive.
