Mary Frances "Sissie" Bray, 82, died January 14 at her home in the New Hope Community following an illness of about five months.

Born October 18, 1879, in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of the late Steve and Sarah Bray and had made her home in the county all her life. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Monday at the New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles E. Correll officiating. Burial was in the New Hope Cemetery.
