Michael Bowser, aged 80, died yesterday afternoon at his home in Lovely, following an illness of several months. Death was attributed to a complicaton of diseases incident to age.
The deceased was a son of Samuel and Ann (Mock) Bowser and was born in this county July 18, 1851. His wife preceded him to the grave 11 hears ago.
Surviving are two children, Charles Bowser, of Alum Bank, and Mrs. George Mickey, of Johnstown. He was a brother of Samuel Bowser of Cherrytree, Mathias Bowser, of Youngwood; Mrs. Susan Ritchey of Alum Bank, and Mrs Rachael Shope, of West St. Clair Township.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Mt. Union Evangelical Church, at Lovely. The Rev. C. O. Fuss officiating. Interment was made in Mt. Union cemetery, in charge of Undertaker J. E. Blackburn, of Alum Bank.

His death certificate number 68467 has his death date on July 10, 1931, and buried on the 12th. He was 79 years, 11 months, 22 days old at time of death. Died from appendicitis.
