Evelyn M. Britt, 87, of Fort Smith died Thursday, January 8, 2004, in Fort Smith. She was a retired manager of Gaslight Gifts in Central Mall. She was a member of Goddard United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Mires Britt, Sr., and a son, Carl Mires Britt II.
Funeral was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with graveside service at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elmwood Cemetery in Morrilton, Arkansas.
She is survived by two daughters, two sisters, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
