George Wayne Blevins, 83, of Helenwood, died September 1, 2001, at the Scott County Hospital in Oneida.
Born in Scott Count, TN June 9, 1918, he was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Lora Elzick Blevins and Tealie Ann Slaven Blevins; three wives Ethal Crabtree, Annie Slaven, Thelma Ellis; two infant daughters, two sons, Carl "Bud" Blevins and MacArthur Blevins; one infant grandson, three brothers, and five sisters.
Survived by 8 children; Conrad, Ova Terry, Eva Walters, Dennis, Brenda, Bobby, Grace, Larry, one sister Poppie Dishman and several grandchildren.
