Born Dec. 22, 1905, in Banner Township, Fulton County, to Carroll and Ollie Schultz Beebe, he married Nell Ragsdale. He married Helen B. Wolf on Sept. 2, 1933, in Macomb. She died Sept. 1, 1987. He also was preceded in death by two grandchildren and one half brother.
Surviving are three sons, Don and Cal, both of British Columbia, Canada, and Ray of Endicott, N.Y.; six daughters, Mrs. Fred (Doris) Powell of Fairview, Mrs. Lyle (Betty) Hebb, Mrs. Jack (Maxine) Rilea, Judy Eddy and Mrs. Sam (Alta) Lingenfelter, all of Canton, and Mrs. Bill (Peggy) Jett of Urbana, Ohio; 28 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and one half sister, Laura Kay of Fargo, N.D. He was a plant guard for International Harvester Co. for 28 years, retiring in 1969. He was a member of the Canton International Harvester Retirees Club. He attended Eastside Nazarene Church in Canton.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home. The Rev. James Brown will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the memorial home. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
