Josiah D. Bean, for 20 years a druggist at Albion, Mich., died Jan. 24th of apoplexy. In 1915, he was elected mayor of that city on the Republican ticket but retired when the commission form of government came into effect on Jan. 1, 1916. He leaves a wife, a son and a daughter.
