Archer L. Adams 70, Caro Businessman for
more than 30 years and part owner of Shell
Gas Station of Mayville, were held Wednesday
at 2:30 p.m. at the Caro Methodist Church
Rev. Kuhlman assisted by Rev. Slosson
officiated with burial being made in Caro
Cemetery.
Mr. Adams suffered a heart attack Sunday
morning while driving near Shabbona and died
within an hour at Pleasant Hospital at Cass
City.
He was born near Davison, July 23, 1877 and
came to a farm in Wells township, Tuscola
County 40 years ago. In 1917 he established
the Michigan Oil Co., at Caro which he
operated until his death.
Surviving are two sons, Donald C. and Duane
Adams both of Caro; two daughters, Mrs.
ArthurCross, East Tawaw and Mrs. Napoleon
Lavoie of Flint and six grand children.
