J. Marie Halford, 44, of Hendersonville, died suddenly on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. A native of Henderson County she was born on January 27, 1969 to Margaret Dalton and the late Jack Gibson.

Mrs. Halford was a lifelong resident of Henderson County, a graduate of Blue Ridge Community College and attended Mud Creek Baptist Church.

Marie enjoyed cooking, camping and spending time with friends and loved ones. She will be truly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Richard S. Halford; son, R. Adam Halford; her mother and step-father Margaret (Richard) Dalton; her brother, Mark Gibson and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Mud Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Craig Halford officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends beginning one hour prior at the church.
