Shirley was born September 28, 1943; the daughter of Tom & Dorothy Adams, Easton, KS. She attended schools in Easton and then transferred to Jefferson County, and stayed with her Aunt Virginia & Uncle Bob McLaughlin in Winchester, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Stevie Adams.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey See (Sheryl), granddaughters Bridgette See and Dusty DeWitt, great granddaughter Kacy Smalley, all of Kansas City, grandson Royal Burnett, San Bernadino, CA, three sisters: Jean Clark, Winchester, KS, Sherry Dodson (Paul), Easton, KS, Carole Monahan (Ed), Westmoreland, KS, many cousins, and Smokey, her ever- faithful, energetic, spoiled, vanilla Labrador Retriever.
Shirley worked at Sunshine Biscuits in Kansas City for several years, and then moved to a management position at Margie's, a local Kansas City restaurant.
Shirley loved motorcycling and was pictured in the December 1972 issue of Easy Rider magazine.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Davis Funeral Chapel to help defray funeral expenses.
A memorial service will be held at the Easton Cemetery Chapel, on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 10:30 a.m., followed by a family reception at the Easton United Methodist Church. Condolences may be sent to www.davisfuneralchapelinc.com
