Kelly Lee Highsmith, was the son of the late James Orland Highsmith and Honorine Cone Highsmith. On December 16, 1962 in Thomasville he married Marjorie Key Highsmith who survives. Mr. Highsmith was a veteran of the US Air Force, a farmer and a private pilot. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and traveling with his wife.
