Captain Clary was the pilot of a AD-2 Skyraider fighter with the Marine Attack Squadron 121, Marine Air Group 12, 1st Marine Air Wing. He was listed as Missing in Action while participating in aerial support over Korea on August 29, 1952. He was presumed dead on December 18, 1953.
