Mrs Emily Allen, widow of Madison Allen, father of Mrs Mary F Higginbotham, of this city, died last week at the home of her son-in-law, Mr Bane, at Narrows, Va. Her husband had been dead 36 years. Mrs Allen, was his second wife.
