Nellie was the daughter of William Raz Bledsoe and Lula Mae (Wheeler) Bledsoe. She married Edgar Lee "Dick" Ogdon on May 8 1946 in Van Buren, AR. He preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 1981. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Services will be at First Assembly of God Church on Oct. 3, 2013 with interment at Blackjack Cemetery.∼Nellie Mae (Bledsoe) Ogdon, 85, of Muldrow passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, in Roland. She was born Jan. 21, 1928, in Muldrow, the daughter of William Raz Bledsoe and Lula Mae (Wheeler) Bledsoe. She was married to Edgar Lee "Dick" Ogdon on May 8, 1946, in Van Buren. He preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 1981. Mrs. Ogdon was a retired sales clerk from J.C. Penney jewelry department and attended the Assembly of God. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Diann and Douglas Dodd of Inola, Okla.; one son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Anna Ogdon of Muldrow; six grandchildren, Eric Ogdon and wife Beth of Muldrow, Leann Ogdon of Roland, Billy Jack Harvell Jr. of Claremore, Okla., Angel McMore and husband Bill of Hanover, Pa., Connie Duncan and husband Shawn of Checotah, Okla., and Amanda Frye and husband Michael of Cleveland, Okla.; and 11 great-grandchildren, Emilee and Easton Ogdon, Bryan, Kevin and Sarah McMore, Audrey and Chandler Stout, Sierra and Jacob Duncan, Adam and Olivia Frye. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at First Assembly of God in Muldrow. Burial will follow at Blackjack Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Muldrow. Active pallbearers will be Eric Ogdon, Billy Jack Harvell Jr., Bryan McMore, Kevin McMore and Mike Frye.
