ADMIRE, LEWIS MELVIN: Melvin Admire, 67, of Morgan, died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2001, at his home in Morgan. He was born April 20, 1934, to Lannie and Edith Martin Admire. On May 18, 1956, he married Dessie Rue. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ruby Woolsey. Melvin was a retired supervisor at the Lee Factory. He is survived by his wife, Dessie, of the home; four children, Phyllis Kelley and her husband, Joe, of Greensboro, N.C.; Melinda Twyman and her husband, Dennis, of Sullivan; Myron Admire and his wife, Michelle of Springfield; and Jim Admire of Madison, Wis.; three grandchildren, Katelyn, Noah, and Emily Admire; a brother, Dennis Admire of Falcon; two sisters, Darlene Dill of Conway and Doris Woolsey of Buffalo; also other relatives. Funeral services for Melvin Admire will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2001, at Colonial Funeral Chapel with David Douglas officiating. Burial will be in the McBride Cemetery, under the direction of Colonial Funeral Chapel of Lebanon. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight (Tuesday) in the chapel. A memorial has been established for McBride Cemetery.
