Wynema Goldie Carroll, long-time Chandler, OK, resident was born on November 30, 1917, in Pocahantis, AR, and departed this life Monday, September 30, 2013, in Chandler, OK, at the age of 95 years.

Wynema was the daughter of Moscow and Laura (Crawford) Pinkston. She married Howard Carroll in Cushing, OK, on April 30, 1943. Wynema was a very compassionate person, who could always identify with those who were suffering. She tried to be the peacemaker when there were disputes, and always showed God's love to family and friends. Wynema was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Chandler.

Her parents, husband, three sisters, and one great-great grandson preceded Wynema in death.

Survivors include, two daughters, Patti Turner of Chandler, OK, and Charlotte Beene of Shawnee, OK. Six grandchildren, Tricia Turner, Randa Turner, Suzan Turner Caldwell, Sarah Turner, Brenna Clay, and Shawn Wilson. Sixteen great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services held at First Baptist Church in Chandler, with Rev. Rick Blackwell officiating, burial at Oak Park Cemetery.
