ORLANDO -- Mr. Edward F. Singler Sr. of Orlando, formerly of Lakeland, died Wednesday (Oct. 18, 2000) at Orlando Regional Medical Center. He was 87.
Born in New York City on Oct. 3, 1913, he moved to Orlando from Lakeland six years ago. He was a retired cost engineer with Davy McKee Corp. He was a former and founding member of Resurrection Catholic Church, Lakeland. He was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, Orlando.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Eleanor; second wife, Dorothy. He is survived by his sons, Edward F. Singler Jr., John C. Singler, both of Lakeland, Lawrence J. Singler, Ronald G. Singler, both of Orlando, Kenneth V. Singler, Owings, Md.; brother, Joseph V. Singler, New Jersey; sister, Louise M. Singler, New York; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home, Conway Chapel, 1413 S. Semoran Blvd., Orlando. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel, Lakeland.
