Lyle Hills "Barney" Evans was born in Nebraska to Ulysses Grant Evans (1868-1929) and Adeline "Addie" Sarah HILL (1875-1946). He was the fourth of seven children born to Grant and Addie. Barney married Alta May HAYES (1909-1968)and together they had two daughters Grace and Frances Adeline. Barney and Alta May are buried together in Nebraska.
