======================================================
Warren Fader, son of Simon & Maria Fader, was born Sept 2, 1855, at Rockford, Ill., and passed from this life on Monday evening, April 3 at the age of 89 years, 7 months and 3 days. At an early age he came with his parents from Rockford to Fillmore County, MN, where the family lived for a number of years, after which the family moved to Kansas where they resided for several years, when they moved to the Coleman, S.D. community.
On Oct. 21, 1891, at Sioux City, Iowa, Mr. Fader was united in marriage to Charlotte A. Perry. To this union no children were born, but a fine young child, Alvin, was taken by the Faders for adoption and reared as their son. The Faders came to the Lynd community from South Dakota about 1896 and resided there until about 3 yeas ago when both Mr. and Mrs. Fader came to make their home at Mrs.Hubbard's rest home in Tracy. The Faders are thus numbered among the very oldest residents of Lynd. They had been married 52 years on last Oct. 21. They had farmed at Lynd until about 20 yeas ago when failing health interfered.
Mr. Fader's parental associations were with a United Brethren church in Fillmore County and it was in this communion that he received Christian baptism when still a young child. When about 12 years of age, he became afflicted with osteomyelitis of the leg bone from which he had suffered through all these long years, being greatly hindered in his physical strength and limited in the amount of physical labor he was able to perform. At the rest home he suffered from pneumonia about 4 months ago, & was overtaken by a stroke abut 2 weeks ago, from which he failed to recover.
Besides his wife, he leaves to survive a son, Alvin, of Glenwood, Iowa, 7 grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Alzina Loughlin of Coleman, S.D. & a brother, Harry Sylvester Fader of Sioux City, Iowa, also more distant relatives in the Albert Lea, MN, and Sioux City, IA vicinity.
