Andrew is the son of Andrew and unknown Haslett. He survived the "Stenton Massacre" on 08 Oct 1763 near now Bethlehem, Allen Twp., Northhampton Co., PA, both parents perished during that raid. He is a veteran of the Revolutionary War and was with Washington at Valley Forge. He married Ruth Adams and after her death, Rosanah Moore Beech.
