Pioneer Passes At 81 Years.

Mrs. Theodore (Lucinda) Reist, of Didsbury, died in hospital here on Saturday, June 14, and she was buried Tuesday in the Didsbury cemetery, following services in the United Missionary church at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Ray Shantz officiating.

In 1899 Mrs. Reist and her husband homesteaded in the Didsbury district, where they resided until moving into town in 1945. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last December.

She was a member of the United Missionary church and the missionary society of that church.

Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Wilmer of Didsbury and Elmer of Chilliwack, B.C.; six daughters, Mrs. C.W. Green, Kuna, Idaho; Mrs. N. Lemont, Edmonton; Mrs. G.R. McLean, Calgary; Mrs. Russell Sherick and Mrs. Crosby Archer of Didsbury, and Mrs. Maynard Snyder of Carstairs, 23 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
