Virginia Brewer Boney, 86, of Summerville, Ga., died Wednesday.
Surviving are her husband of 65 years, F.H. "Pete" Boney; a daughter, Marcia Boney of St. Simons Island, Ga.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Love of Canton; a brother and his wife, Homer and Lenore Brewer of Decatur, Ga.; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was to be at 1 p.m. today at Summerville First United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Hicks officiating. Interment was to be in Summerville Cemetery.
