Mrs. Mary Thor, 84, of 1333 S. 17th St., Manitowoc, died Monday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been a patient 10 days.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. D.L. Krembs will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
The former Mary Sporer was born Sept. 9, 1880, at Two Creeks, daughter of the late John and Mary Hasheck Sporer. She was married to Frank Thor at Tisch Mills May 19, 1908, and the couple operated a cheese factory at Mishicot before farming near the village. They came to Manitowoc in 1929. Mr. Thor died May 6, 1932. Mrs. Thor was a member of St. Theresa Society of St. Andrew Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John Shimon and Mrs. William Wagner of Manitowoc and Mrs. Rudolph Keller of Rt. 1, Manitowoc; four sons, Frank and Louis of Manitowoc, Adolph of Chicago and Otto of Two Creeks; a sister, Mrs. Joseph Jacquette of Two Rivers, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A son and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday where the Rosary will be recited at 8:15 p.m. by members of the parish and St. Theresa Society.

Last Tuesday Miss Mary Sporer of Two Creeks and Mr. Frank Thor of Norman were united in marriage at St. Luke's Church, Tisch Mills,, Rev. Father Prochaska officiating. The attendants of the bride were Misses Anna Thor and Tena Sporer and Messrs. John Hasheck of this city and Frank Sporer attended the groom.
The wedding was duly celebrated at the home of the bride's parents after the ceremony at the church was completed.

Friends from the city attended the wedding of Frank Thor and Miss Mary Spara, celebrated at Two Creeks today.
The marriage was celebrated at 9 o'clock and was followed by an elaborate reception and a big dinner and dance.
The couple will reside at Mishicott where the groom will conduct a cheese factory.
