Anna Swokowski, 86, of North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc, died Sunday evening, November 1, 1987 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 am Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral home and 10 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Harold Berryman with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Swokowski was born October 4, 1901 at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Murrach Gadzinski. She married George Swokowski on October 4, 1926 at St. Mary Catholic church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death February 17, 1980.
Survivors include three sons and a daughter-in-law, George and Clovis Swokowski of West Palm Beach, Florida, Richard Swokowski of Sheboygan and Elmer Swokowski of Milwaukee; 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by five brothers.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral home, Manitowoc, from 4 pm to 8 pm Wednesday. Prayer service will be held at 7:30 pm led by Deacon Robert Drobka.
