Mrs. Taylor was the daughter of Joe Wheeler and Frances Eunice Berry Hughen. She was a retired bookkeeper. She was a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church in Shreveport, where she taught Sunday School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Adrian Taylor, on September 15, 1989.
She was survived by two sons, Dr. Cecil Taylor and wife Reeda of Mobile, AL and Jim Taylor of Houston, TX; one daughter, Sandra Bamburg and husband David of Shreveport; two sisters, Marcia Wiens of Winnfield and Corinne Rawls and husband John of Keithville; one brother, Joe Hughen and wife Nellie of Saline.
