Leland M. Robbins, 96, of Hughesville, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009, at his home.
Born March 24, 1913, in Unityville, he was a son of the late George M. and Nancy E. Kessler Robbins. He and his wife, the former Ruth M. Charles, celebrated 64 years of marriage on June 15, 2009.
Leland retired from the Brodart Company, Williamsport in 1978 and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Hughesville.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are several nieces and nephews.
Leland was preceded in death by four brothers, Dean, Donald, Grant and Fred Robbins; and two sisters, Emily Robbins Gordner and Mary Robbins Lannan.
