Malonda Bertha Potter, age 83, of 2460 Denton Valley Road, Bristol, TN went to be with the Lord on April 7, 2004 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. Born;Dec. 20, 1920

She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Inez Potter Hilliard and was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area.

Ms. Potter was a housewife and a member of South Chapel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Cleveland Potter and a daughter Frances Harr.

Survivors include;

Daughters – Vina Harr and husband Frank, Ilene Graybeal and husband James all of Bristol, TN
Sons – Ernest Potter and wife Brenda, Eugene Potter, C. L. Potter and wife Sue all of Bristol, TN and James Potter of Abingdon, VA
Sisters – Mary Berry of Bristol, TN and Morella Cross of Bristol, TN
Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren
Several Nieces and Nephews

Funeral services will be held on Friday April 9, 2004 at South Chapel Baptist Church at 11 am with Rev. Mark Baumgardner and Rev. Benny Bowman officiating.

Interment will follow at Cox Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 pm at Weaver Funeral Home and other times at 251 Sinking Springs Road, Bristol, TN.
