Mrs. Arnold J. Stanzel, 49, of 1310 S. 15th St., Manitowoc, died Saturday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. John S. Landowski will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Stanzel, the former Josephine Kotarek, was born Oct. 18, 1915, at Manitowoc, daughter of Mrs. Alvina Tadych Kotarek and the late Peter Kotarek. She was married to Mr. Stangel Aug. 21, 1936, at St. Mary Church. She had been employed by National Tinsel factory until 1964. She was a member of the Rosary and Altar Society of St. Mary Church and Mystical Rose Circle, Daughters of Isabella.
She is survived by her husband, a son, Francis John; mother; two brothers, Peter and John of Manitowoc; two stepsisters, Mrs. Emma Adams, of California and Mrs. Anna Koscewski, of Kewaunee. A daughter, Betty Jane, died May 26.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Monday where the Rosary will be recited by the Rosary and Altar Society and at 7 p.m. by the DI, parish and friends.
