Rachel's life with us here ended Friday, August 2, 2013. Visitation will be Sunday, August 4th from 3pm until 5pm at Natchez Trace Funeral Home, 759 Hwy 51 Madison, MS. A service to celebrate Rachel's life will be Monday, August 5th at the Chapel of Camp Lake Stephens beginning at 1:00pm.
Rachel was a native of Lexington and graduated from Rocky Bayou Christian School in Niceville, Florida. She had resided in Madison since 2006 and is survived by her mother, Joyce Rhodes Barrett of Madison and father Pat Barrett, Jr. of Lexington; siblings, Justin Develin and his wife Gina and their children Ellie and Rhodes Develin, Laura Taylor and husband Larry of Houston, TX, Patrick Barrett and wife Lisa of Nashville, TN and Jonathan Barrett and wife Leigh of Madison.
Rachel is preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Barrett, Sr. of Lexington and Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Rhodes of New Albany.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National MPS Society P.O. Box 14686 Durham, NC 27709-4686.
