Frank Sladkey (sic), 83, formerly of Shoto, Rt. 2, Two Rivers, died Saturday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Very Rev. Msgr. Alfred Schneider will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Frank Sladkey (sic) was born June 28, 1885, in the Town of Kossuth, son of the late George and Annie Petcival Sladkey. He married Julia Stanzel June 4, 1917, at Francis Creek. After marriage they located at Shoto, where he operated an apiary and grist mill. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Ann Catholic Church, Francis Creek. Mrs. Sladkey preceded him in death in 1960.

Survivors include a brother, Wencel, of Manitowoc and nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.

One of the pretty weddings of the season was celebrated at the Catholic Church at Francis Creek this morning at 8:30, the principals being miss Julia Stanzel and Frank Sladky. Father Brown officiated and many friends from this city were present. Miss Sievert, Two Rivers and Amelia Stanzel and George Sladky and Wenzel Sladky attended the couple.

The groom is a brother of Joseph Sladky of this city and is employed in the mill at Shoto where they will reside.

They departed on a honeymoon to Chicago and Milwaukee.
