Nokomis, Fla. - The Rev. Howard L. Bailey, 67, 329 Sunrise Dr., Nokomis, Fla. died Thursday.
Born in Wabash County, he was a chaplain with the U.S. Air Force during World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of the presbytery. A former resident of Chester, Illinois, he had lived in Florida for three years.
Surviving are his wife, Jean (Willen); two sons, William H., Wever, Iowa, and Thomas A., Monmouth, Ill.; one daughter, Mrs. Russell (Mary) Marshall, West Des Moines, Iowa; two brothers, Warren M., Marion, and Dr. Hall E., Hattiesburg, Miss.; one sister, Mrs. Pal (Georgia) Bahr, Albuquerque, N.M.
Graveside services were held on Monday at the IOOF Cemetery, Marion, Raven Funeral Home, Kem Road at Wabash Ave, Marion, handled the arrangements.
