After the death of Samuel, Nancy married John Thomas Joyce, whose first marriage was to Catherine ("Kittie") Rogers, on July 11, 1893, in Hickman Co., TN. They had at one least one child, a daughter who was born in October 1894 and who may have married R.E. Shipp in 1908.
Jane married Peter Samuel Mayberry (Memorial # 115480899), who was the widower of Mary E. Murray Mayberry, on December 20, 1908, in Hickman Co., TN. They lived in Humphreys Co., TN, and may have moved to Gibson Co., TN before Mr. Mayberry's death in 1937.
As of 1940, Jane was living with her niece Minnie Lee Joyce Mitchell and her husband Richard Thomas Mitchell in Humphreys Co., TN. Mr. Mitchell was the informant on Jane's death certificate when she died in 1941.
I am not certain that Nancy is actually buried in Chessor Cemetery. There is no date of death inscribed on the marker that she shares with her first husband Samuel P. Coble. Nancy's death certificate lists her date of birth as May 16, 1855 and her date of death as January 23, 1941, and states that she was buried in Chandler Cemetery.
