Florence was only two days old when she died. She was buried on 14 September 1917 in Fernwood cemetery Delaware County Pennsylvania. Her mother Rosina (Lord) Cox and aunt and uncle Rachel (Cox) Lord and husband John Lord are also buried in Section 52 Lot 475. Florence and her mother both died in the month of September 1917 not long after the birth of Florence. She was the only child of her mother Rosina (who died on 26 September 1917) and husband William H. Cox.
