Ex-Portland Woman Passes Away at Home in Alameda, Cal.


Mrs. Edward Ellingson, formerly Edith Hannum of Portland, died Tuesday at Alameda, Cal., according to word received here yesterday. She was 28 years old. Mrs. Ellingson made her home in this city until April of last year. The body will be brought to Portland and funeral services will be held tomorrow at Miller & Tracey's mortuary. Interment will be in Rose City Park cemetery. Mrs. Ellingson is survived by her husband and two children, Edward and Stanley, ages 6 and 4 years. She leaves, also, her mother, Mrs. John Berch [sic], of Morgan, Or.; one sister, Mrs. C. Knipfel of Portland, and two brothers, Edward Hannum of Portland and Delbert Hannum of Fort Ward, Wash.
